For clients who prefer an organic appearance, we create solid wood dining tables with little or no visible resin. When a slab contains natural openings, cracks, or voids that are worth preserving, resin can sometimes be incorporated as both a structural and design element.
When resin is used, proper preparation, ratios, curing conditions, and finishing matter. Resin should complement the wood rather than overwhelm it.

Properly Dried Wood Is Essential
Beautiful wood alone does not guarantee a well-made table.
Wood continues to react to changes in its environment, which makes proper drying and preparation especially important when building large dining tables.
Many slabs in our collection have been drying for approximately three to five years, while even our minimum drying period for many pieces is around a year and a half. Allowing wood to stabilize gradually is an important part of preparing material for furniture construction.
We then carefully prepare, sand, and professionally finish each table for everyday use.
Most of our finishes are zero-VOC, with our remaining finishes and resin products selected to be low-VOC.
