Exceptional Materials. Extraordinary Scale.

Some spaces require something that simply cannot be ordered from a conventional furniture showroom.

Our current inventory includes rare and oversized slabs—including exotic material reaching approximately 22 feet in length—allowing us to create substantial dining tables, conference tables and statement furniture for large-scale residential and commercial interiors.

We also work with distinctive materials including Makasar ebony, tamarind, acacia and other highly figured woods.

For clients, architects and interior designers searching for something truly unusual, we can source extraordinary materials specifically for a project.

Resin Tables Without Compromise

Resin should enhance extraordinary wood—not overwhelm it.

Our approach to resin furniture developed through years of experimentation with materials, clarity, color, movement and finishing.

In addition to traditional clear and colored resin applications, Indigenous by La Rue has developed our own crystallized resin pieces, a process that took approximately two years to refine.

These pieces blur the line between functional furniture and collectible design.

For a Pacific Palisades residence requiring something that cannot simply be purchased elsewhere, we can develop the material, resin treatment and design around the space itself. Explore Custom Resin Tables

The Novo Collection

For interiors requiring a more architectural expression, our Novo Collection combines exceptional natural wood with contemporary custom bases and refined resin treatments.

The collection was created for clients who appreciate the individuality of natural material but want the finished piece to feel distinctly modern.

Each table can be adapted to its environment through slab selection, proportions, resin and base design.

From Raw Slab to Finished Furniture

One of the most important differences in custom wood furniture isn't always visible in the finished photograph.

It's what happened to the wood beforehand.

Indigenous by La Rue controls critical stages of our process in-house, including milling, kiln drying, preparation, fabrication and finishing.

Properly preparing wood is particularly important when creating substantial pieces intended to remain in a home for decades.

We don't simply purchase a slab and attach a base.

We understand the material we're building with.

That allows us to create furniture intended not only to look extraordinary when it arrives, but to be enjoyed for generations.

A New Home Deserves Something Meaningful

For many families in Pacific Palisades, creating a home has taken on a deeper meaning.

Following the devastating fires, homeowners throughout the community are rebuilding, renovating and beginning again.

We understand that replacing a home isn't about recreating every object that was once inside it.

Sometimes it is about choosing a smaller number of pieces that feel meaningful enough to become part of the family's next chapter.

We would be honored to create one of them.

Whether that means an extraordinary dining table where the family can gather again, a piece incorporating meaningful materials, or something completely new, our process begins by listening to what the client wants the piece to represent.
