Navy Blue Long Amate
This beautifully handwoven tapestry is made in the traditional method of procuring bark from up to 4 different species of trees, soaking the bark over night and then separating it and boiling 4 hours in natural dyes to create the color. Once the desired color is obtained the long strands are woven, braided, knotted and stamped to create the balanced works of art.
