Each top is cut from a single slab of Acacia, showcasing rich, contrasting growth rings and a live edge silhouette that preserves the tree’s original geometry. The crosscut surface exposes varied grain patterns and knots, creating a dynamic visual texture that changes with light and angle.
A deliberate textured crevice runs the length of the top, carved and finished by hand to highlight the wood’s natural voids and mineral streaks. The crevice is stabilized and sealed with a low-sheen resin in a complementary tone, preserving the tactile depth while protecting the interior from dust and wear. The result is a subtle contrast between smooth surfaced planes and a tactile channel that invites closer inspection.
