114" Custom Luxury Dining Table — Tamarind Slab with Semi-Transparent Resin
An expansive single-slab Tamarind dining table, 114" long, crafted to showcase the wood’s natural character while offering modern architectural presence. The slab retains its organic grain and live edge warmth, stabilized and finished to reveal deep honey to amber tones, mineral streaks, and tonal variation unique to Tamarind. Sections of the slab are squared off and inlaid with semi-transparent resin that follows the wood’s natural voids and splits, creating controlled geometric contrast while preserving depth and translucence. The resin’s subtle clarity allows the wood’s color and texture to show through, providing a luminous counterpoint to the solid timber.
The tabletop is finished with a smooth, low-sheen surface that highlights the tactile contrast between hand-sanded wood and resin. Edges are refined and comfortable for dining, and the overall thickness gives a substantial, heirloom quality.
Support is provided by three matte black metal legs, positioned for optimal stability and clean visual balance. The squared, minimalist leg design complements the squared resin inlays while maintaining generous under-table clearance for seating. Metal hardware is recessed and installed for a seamless look.
